Job Title: Efficiency Coaching Operation Coordinator

The Efficiency Coaching Operation Coordinator works under the direction of the Program Manager. They are responsible for supervising and evaluating the Efficiency Coaches. They work to improve energy efficiency and promote conservation by planning and directing energy conservation education, activities, events, installations and services with Weatherization-eligible families and other community based organizations. They are also responsible of overseeing installations, coordinating subcontractors /vendors, and prepare periodic reports and monthly invoices to Efficiency Vermont. They work closely with Clients, the Weatherization Director, Operations team, Auditors, and partner businesses and organizations.
Identifies and promotes the installation of electrical efficiency measures as outlined in the current contract with Efficiency Vermont, implements behavioral change models to support low-income consumers in developing energy efficiency habits and practices, and assists with client site visits as needed.
Reviews work scopes for energy savings, job cost and appropriateness of Weatherization measures and Electrical Efficiency services. Discusses changes with the Efficiency Coaches and revises proposed work scopes as necessary.
Coordinates subcontractors for, heating, plumbing, electric, carpentry, insulating, air sealing and other building & repair trades as part of the custom measures services.
Assists with scheduling work load to maintain monthly job completion goals and steady production levels. Updates Program Manager weekly as to expected monthly job completions.
Works with Program Manager in response to State and Grantors’ monitoring reports and ensures corrective actions have been taken.
Ensures all vendor payments are processed and inventory issues are posted in a timely matter, orders Efficiency coach inventory and responsible for the Coach inventory reconciliation process
Monitors and advises Program Manager of problems with contractor work quality, timeliness or customer relations. Investigates and resolves client issues.
Represent the Weatherization Department in Ad-Hoc Agency Committees and OEO’s WAP program
Maintain organized and professional work environment

Other duties as assigned
AA or BA in human services or related field preferred.
Ability to reflect background, culture, language, and unique characteristics of program participants.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent record keeping and organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, ability to work independently.
Functional familiarity with Windows based computers and Microsoft Office Software Suite of programs
Commitment to working as part of a team and acceptance of supervision
Willingness to commit to a flexible work schedule that includes occasional evening and weekend hours.
